I don’t remember when it began, my camera shyness. A few years ago I think. The picture above was taken by my sister at Madrid Airport in 2005. As you can see I hid behind a magazine when she was about to take the photo.  

Imagine if all the people you met while travelling were camera shy. That wouldn’t be especially fun because some of the best travel shots are the ones of people, especially close-ups. I so need to get over my camera shyness and I encourage all other camera shy people out there to do the same. Standing behind the camera isn’t enough. Let people take your picture! Period.
